  4. The employer receives a free notice and can pay $99 to unlock one complaint response workspace.
  5. The employer can finish its response. Only the employee decides whether the matter is resolved, unresolved, or still open.
  6. Download the complaint, evidence, delivery history, and employer response or non-response for any next step you choose.

Your employer does not get the final word on your record.

If the employer does not unlock, does not respond, or gives an answer you believe does not resolve the problem, you can keep the matter open or mark it unresolved.

You can choose whether to use the complete record with an agency, attorney, union, or another resource. Verity does not make that choice for you.

What control means in practice.

Can my employer see a draft?

No. A draft stays private until you review it and choose to send it.

Who pays?

The employee pays nothing. The employer pays one fee if it chooses to unlock the complaint and respond in Verity.

Can the employer mark my complaint resolved?

No. The employer can mark its response complete. Only you decide whether the matter feels resolved to you.

What happens if the employer does nothing?

The record remains yours. It shows the complaint, when it was sent, and that no employer response was recorded.

Does Verity tell me which agency to use?

No. Verity provides official resource links and preserves your record. It does not choose an agency, file for you, or provide legal advice.
